San Mateo Officials Share Transit Wishlist for Regional Funding
City leaders across San Mateo are now articulating what they want from a possible regional transportation funding measure, especially improved connectivity across the San Mateo-Hayward Bridge. Ideas on the table include better bus service, safer bike corridors, and infrastructure upgrades that could help commuters and reduce congestion.

New Principals Named for Burlingame and Aragon High Schools
The San Mateo Union High School District Board of Trustees has selected new leaders for two of our community’s major high schools. Peter Alvarez will take the helm at Aragon High School in San Mateo, bringing over 30 years of experience, and Lauren Kelly will become the next principal at Burlingame High School, succeeding a retiring principal.
