Your Dog Deserves Better Than Mystery Kibble

Most kibble is cooked at extreme temperatures that strip out the nutrients your dog actually needs. Your dog deserves better than that.

Spot & Tango's UnKibble is the only human-grade dog food that delivers all the benefits of fresh food without taking up fridge space. Made with USDA-grade meats, plus fresh fruits and vegetables, then gently dried at low temps to lock in up to 99% of nutrients. As vets say: "This is the food dogs were born to eat."

It's pantry-friendly, delivered to your door, and comes with a personalized scoop sized to your dog's exact needs. No guesswork, no prep, no refrigeration.

350,000+ dog parents have already made the switch — and 87% saw health improvements in their pup after switching.

A little gift your dog deserves. Try it risk-free with a 14-day money-back guarantee and get 60% off with code DESERVES60

San Mateo Officials Share Transit Wishlist for Regional Funding
City leaders across San Mateo are now articulating what they want from a possible regional transportation funding measure, especially improved connectivity across the San Mateo-Hayward Bridge. Ideas on the table include better bus service, safer bike corridors, and infrastructure upgrades that could help commuters and reduce congestion.

While voters would decide on a ballot measure, these early conversations matter – they help shape what improvements might be prioritized if funding is approved. This could translate into smoother daily travel on SamTrans, Caltrain, or even car routes if a plan passes. Read more here.

New Principals Named for Burlingame and Aragon High Schools

Both are set to start on July 1, and each brings background in guiding diverse student populations and strengthening school communities. For families and staff, these leadership changes could shape school culture, academic focus, and community engagement next school year. Read more here.

Community College District Moves Forward Amid Education Funding Conversations
In education news tied to broader state trends, a recent article reports on discussions in Sacramento about education funding,  including for community colleges, even as our own San Mateo County community college district advances plans like its first student housing.

Rising housing costs for students locally have underscored the need for support beyond the classroom, which is part of what’s driving the district’s dormitory project down in downtown. For locals, better funding strategies could mean more affordable pathways for students and a stronger workforce pipeline for area employers. Read more here.
