Playground Updates Coming to San Mateo 

Updates to the the popular is coming to Magic Mountain Playground at Coyote Point Recreational Area in San Mateo, with plans for a $3.8 million dollar recreational space designed to serve families across the community. The project will include modern play structures, inclusive equipment for children of all abilities, and upgraded amenities to make the park more accessible and engaging.

City leaders say the investment reflects a broader push to improve public spaces and support outdoor activity for local families. Once completed, the playground will include better access and play space for all visitors. Read more here.

Ransomware Attack Disrupting Foster City 

A ransomware attack that occurred last week has forced officials in Foster City to declare a state of emergency after critical city systems were disrupted. The cyberattack has impacted internal operations, including phone and email systems. While the investigation is ongoing, city officials stated that the network has been taken offline, continuing to affect communication systems. Emergency services including 911 remain operational. Maternal Health Initiative in San Mateo
