Osaka Marketplace Foster City Slated to Open on December 12th
The Osaka Marketplace in Foster City is now set to open on December 12th. The first 100 shoppers on December 12th, 13th, and 14th will receive a special goodie bag! Once open, they will have a broad selection of imported Japanese groceries, fresh produce and seafood, ready-to-eat meals, and pantry staples under one roof. The store will also feature a food-court style section with Japanese dishes like ramen, bento boxes and other comfort foods, giving locals access to both grocery shopping and casual dining in a single destination. They are located at 919 Edgewater Blvd, Foster City.
Apple Fritter in San Mateo
Apple Fritter is a cozy, locally owned café in San Mateo beloved for its creative brunch and comfort-food offerings. Their menu runs the gamut from donut burgers and “mystery-flavor” fritters to hearty breakfast burritos, pancakes, French toast and classic egg-and-cheese sandwiches, giving you everything from indulgent treats to simple morning staples. The vibe is laid-back and a little quirky, with fun decor and a casual counter-serve style that makes it a top pick for brunch-goers and late-morning meals. Don’t sleep on Apple Fritter on the weekend though: their fritters and popular dishes tend to sell out fast, so going early helps.
